MUN-EUROPE Training course
Each MUN•EUROPE project includes a training course to prepare for the simulation. Participation in the course is mandatory for the programs in New York and Washington DC, while it is available as an option in the different packages of our events in Europe (Rome, Madrid, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Vienna, Malta, and London).
The training program consists of 6 live online lessons, held in the afternoon, each lasting about three hours. The lessons are led by our expert professors and cover in detail everything needed to be fully prepared for the simulation: functioning of the Model United Nations and the United Nations; fundamentals of International Relations and Geopolitics; basics of International Law; research and writing techniques for Position Papers; and the development of key soft skills (public speaking, negotiation, leadership, teamwork). All of this is delivered within a curriculum designed exclusively for participation in Model United Nations.

For the programs in New York and Washington DC, in addition to the online lessons, there is also an in-person workshop held directly in the United States, where all participants from the MUN•EUROPE network will gather for an intensive training and networking session before the simulation.
All of our students also have access to a dedicated e-learning platform, which includes: a library with more than 50 recorded videos available 24/7 to review and consolidate key concepts; and the recordings of the live lessons, always available for consultation.
This blended approach – live lessons, in-person workshops, and on-demand content – ensures complete and flexible preparation, guiding participants step by step until the day of the simulation.
Once registered, MUNers can immediately begin their preparation thanks to the videos on the e-learning platform, and will later receive by email the calendar of lessons with schedules, links, and useful information.
The training program includes a total of 80 certified hours, divided as follows: 33 hours of online training with our professors, 17 hours of recorded content on the MUN•EUROPE e-learning platform, 10 hours of individual preparation, and 20 hours of simulation. A final report will certify the activity, useful for requesting recognition of the training for school or academic credits.
At the end of the simulation, each participant will receive a personal certificate of participation, any awards obtained, and the final training report, valid for MUN New York, MUN Washington DC and all MUN•EUROPE projects through the Complete package with training course included.
